Saiteja Mukkamalla: "[Faf] It was an incredible knock, one of the best T20 batters in the world. It was just amazing to watch it from the other end. And I think I had the best view in the house. It's just amazing to learn from him. The crowd has been great. Every time we come to Texas, the crowd really has fun, and we also enjoy it. A good Powerplay would be crucial. Our bowlers have done it in the past three games, and we just have to execute our plans again."

8:42 pm What an incredible show with the bat from the Texas Super Kings! Faf du Plessis was on fire today, leading the charge right from the start of the Powerplay. Devon Conway even got a life when Matt Short dropped his catch in the fifth over. The Super Kings dominated the powerplay, smashing 71 runs without losing a single wicket! Faf truly played like a captain! He smashed his 81st T20 fifty in a blink, off just 22 balls, and then went on to score his 7th T20 century! The Super Kings looked set for a massive total, but they stumbled a bit in the middle. They lost both their set batters, Mukkamalla and Faf, on back-to-back deliveries. That gave the Unicorns' bowlers some much-needed momentum. They managed to pull things back and restrict the Super Kings from reaching 200. Bartlett and Rauf were the stars with the ball, picking up two wickets each. Their fielding was below average today, dropping a few catches, missing two run-out chances, and misfields too. We will be back for the second innings after a short break!
