Seattle Orcas have done well to restrict Texas Super Kings to 153/6 and will feel confident about chasing this total down. A couple of batters got starts and reached double figures but there wasn't any quick knock or impactful enough to push the score to a truly competitive level. Mukkamalla, Mitchell and Stoinis all got decent starts and later contributions from Kumar and Ranjane have given Texas something to fight for. However, their bowlers will need tremendous discipline and early wickets to make up for the slightly below-par total. Jasdeep Singh and Harmeet Singh were clinical, picking up two wickets apiece while consistently hitting the right channels and asking probing questions. Obed McCoy was economical and claimed the key wicket of Faf du Plessis. Sikandar Raza made his presence felt as well, making an immediate impact after joining his squadmates
GregW: "What is the pitch like? A little slow? How would a score of 150 compare to par? " It's a tricky pitch and the slower ones have been hard to time. There is reward if bowlers hit the right areas. Should be a fascinating second half
Shivesh Anand: "Watching it live at Oakland Coliseum! That was quite a save! The entire stadium has gone crazy! "
