3:45 pm The Texas Super Kings had a rough start with the bat! Their captain was out early, bowled by a dangerous yorker from Dre Russ that shattered the stumps. Conway and Mukkamalla then began to steady the ship, but Conway's innings ended after a quick 34 runs from 22 balls. Mukkamalla got a lucky break in the 9th over when Tromp dropped an easy catch at deep midwicket. However, that didn't matter much as Mukkamalla threw his wicket away in the very next over, right after the strategic timeout. The Knight Riders' spinners turned the game around in the middle overs, effectively exploiting the sticky pitch conditions. Towards the end, Donovan Ferreira played a fantastic cameo, smashing 32 runs off just 16 balls. Some average fielding from the Knight Riders, dropped a few catches and missed some run-out opportunities. Sangha was the standout bowler with two wickets, while Russell and van Schalkwyk each picked up one.
Muhammad Faraz: "M.Faraz Myt: is it bowling pitch or we have to see some surprise will comes out in 2nd inning, what's your opinion?" It all relies on how well the spinners bowl throughout the middle overs.
