Thank you for following our coverage. See you tomorrow with more MLC action. For now, it's goodbye from our team!

Finn Allen, MVP: I reckon good bats (smiles), nice to star the tournament strong. Think they did a really good job preparing the wicket. We have got firepower and guys chipped in as well. Was special and good stint. Crowd was electric and (tournament) is shaping up well

After posting a mammoth 269, thanks to Finn Allen's pyrotechnics, scoring 151 at a blistering strike rate of 296.07 - Unicorns left Washington Freedom reeling. WSF began their chase brightly, racing to 50 in just 3.2 overs and maintaining momentum through the powerplay. But the introduction of Haris Rauf turned the tide. His spell slowed things down and wickets began to tumble at regular intervals as batters tried to keep up with the asking rate and manufacture big shots but the efforts consistently misfired. Haris Rauf and Hassan Khan claimed three wickets each. Liam Plunkett delivered a superb one over while Carmi le Roux applied smart tactics to bag two crucial wickets of Mukhtar Ahmed and AJ Pienaar. A sensational performance from the Unicorns and a chance for Washington Freedom to reflect particularly on refining their bowling strategies moving forward

Haris Rauf to Netravalkar, OUT, Can he finish the job in this over? Yes, he can. Curling it back after hitting a shorter length at 90mph and gets the seam movement, inside-edge to the keeper, his feet got stuck. Haris has been the star of the show, regaled us with his pace and aggressive bowling
