Russell played a blinder and his quickfire 70 has given impetus to this innings, he was striking at 189 and helped LAKR put up a competitive score on the board after a very sedate start in the powerplay. It was certainly a thoroughly entertaining knock. Rossouw put the innings back on track with his blitzkrieg as well and Washington Freedom will rue allowing them to get off the hook after a brilliant start

Henriques to Russell, 2 runs, On a length around the line off, splayed his front foot out to cover and slashes at it into the covers, hustles and bustles for a couple of runs

Sach: "Honestly, this pitch doesn't look nearly as well maintained as the Texas one, something they have to work on in the future."

Jack: "@Manish - completely agree. Narine should put himself to Open.. he's done it all around the world and can help get them off to a flyer. Really bizarre batting order"
