9:10pm TSK have huffed and puffed their way to 154, which is not a huge score but it definitely gives them something to play with. They were in a position to get more, especially at the 15-over mark but never really clicked into top gear. Conway held their innings and Santner provided the hits at the end. Apart from that, though, it was a case of batters getting in but not being able to accelerate as much as they would have liked.

While the pitch is not very conducive to free-flowing stroke-play, MINY must also be given credit for how they bowled. They did not try too many things and stuck to bowling at the stumps. Pollard and Taylor, two part-time bowlers, bowled six overs for just 35 runs and also managed a wicket between themselves - something TSK might go on to regret, considering they took 32 off Rashid.

With 155 to chase, MINY will back themselves and will definitely be the happier side at the break. Stranger things, however, have happened in this sport and do join us in a bit to see what twists and turns this run-chase takes.

Rashid Khan: I played yesterday in Bangladesh and I had only 24 hours to get here. Had 21 hours in the flight, only three hours to get here. Was tough but good to be here, playing on the ground and great to be here for the first time in the MLC. (On challenge of bowling to Conway) It was a bit challenging because of the new conditions. I had to adjust the lengths and the variations. Tried to keep it simple and hit the right areas as consistently as possible. (On the score) Pretty happy with that. It is about playing a positive brand of cricket and we can hopefully chase this down.

Boult to Milind Kumar, OUT, oh dear, what has happened here?! Full and way outside off stump. Milind has a swish at it and misses. Santner wants to get to the other end to take strike but Milind has not moved a muscle. The keeper relays it to Boult, who dives Jonty Rhodes-style to remove the bails, with Santner nowhere in the picture! Surely Milind should have attempted the run and sacrificed his wicket, if it came to that?

Boult to Sams, OUT, big shout and given! Length delivery slanted into middle and leg. Sams continues using his bat like an axe and only connects with fresh air. Gets pinned on the back leg and the umpire raises his finger. Sams reviews but this could be more in hope than anticipation. No bat involved and Ball Tracking shows that this would have clipped the outside of leg stump. Umpire's Call and Sams has to go!

Boult to Bravo, OUT, Bravo bites the dust! Slower delivery on a length on off stump. Bravo comes down the track and tries to tonk it into tomorrow. Does not seem to pick the slower one, though, and swings too early. Gets it right off the toe end and Pollard completes the simplest of catches at long on!

Boult to bowl the 18th

Kevin: "Conway was very lucky with the run out last over (correct call though). But he was super unlucky there, what in the world happened with that delivery, staying so low!" -- It did stay low but I think he was beaten more by the turn than the lack of bounce. He played well inside the line, expecting that to be a leg-spinner rather than a googly.

Rashid Khan to Bravo, no run, googly on a back of a length on middle stump. The ball spins back sharply, goes past Bravo's bat and pings him on the thigh pad

Bravo is here. He has been in quite some form this MLC. Needs to watch the googly and those pads against Rashid, though. Two slips in place. In the 17th over

Rashid Khan to Conway, OUT, cleans him up with a ripper! Googly on a back of a length on middle and off. This does not quite bounce as much but not sure if Conway picked it anyway. He has a prod at it but ends up playing well inside the line as the ball sneaks past the bat and thuds into off stump!
