4:15pm Well, the Bangladesh innings comes to an end. Several standout performers, with Mushfiqur being solid as ever for Bangladesh. Shakib and Mehidy also notched up crucial fifties, with Litton scoring a brisk 41.

McBrine, meanwhile, headlined the show for the visitors, picking up the best-ever figures by an Irish bowler in a Test innings. Unfortunately for Ireland, there was not a lot of support for McBrine, meaning that they let the game drift in the first and second sessions today. In the third session, they hit back, although by then, Bangladesh had fashioned themselves a very healthy lead.

The hosts are still in control of this game, and are more than 150 runs ahead.
