That's a wrap on today's game. The road to the final is now clear. India and South Africa will have game time to use for prep in three days. West Indies will get a chance to make improvements ahead of the fast approaching T20 World Cup. For the uninitiated, five IPL teams have bought Women's IPL, called the Women's Premier League (WPL), teams. Find out details in our news piece or Newsroom video on ESPNcricinfo. For now, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, my co-commentating report writer S Sudarshanan, and out scorer, Harshith.
Tazmin Brits: I was dreaming about this, happy it came true. Domestic games make a big difference, nice to face the countries and make runs against them.
Sune Luus, South Africa Captain: Great day for us, powerplay was exceptional and set the tone for the game. Ten-wicket win is perfect. Nervy start for the debutant but she was okay. Good for her to build the confidence, can only go up from here. With every single game, our performances will grow and we will gel as a team.
Hayley Matthews, West Indies Captain: Lot of areas to improve, need to string an entire innings. Need to move forward. Campbelle was good, some positives to take home. But lots to improve.
5:28pm: A ten-wicket win, as one sided as it can get. West Indies are eliminated from the tri-series. Brits' fifty caps off the win with thirty eight balls remaining in the innings. Wolvaardt and Brits started positively, shuffled around the gears, got the big overs when possible. The scoreboard pressure wasn't on, which made their work easier. Brits walking down early and depositing manufactured full tosses was impressive. Wolvaardt made an effortless 42, red inker too. West Indies did not turn up with the ball, Ramharack's overs were decent, she mixed up lengths and was consistent when needed. In the end, the hosts coast through to the win.
