4.15pm: Well, there was a bit of rust on both sides, but we have a game. NZ bowled very tidily throughout, even accounting for an 80-run opening stand, and the hosts could never fully break the shackles. There were half-centuries for Dawid Malan, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Liam Livingstone but, for one of the most aggressive line-ups in the game, it looked like hard work. Rachin Ravindra was a standout for NZ, taking 3 for 48. Here's what he thought of it: "Three world-class players [dismissed], opportunity to bowl and not get worked out was pretty cool. Trying to deny them as much as I can, luckily the pitch was holding a bit and they had to force it. The power they had down the order showed, but hopefully that's around par. With wickets in hand, we can have a good crack at the death." Miller will be back for the chase in a bit
