4.45pm: "The three spectators still out in the stands with umbrellas up have just been advised over the PA to seek cover as 'there's some lightning about'," reports Valkerie. "Rain heavy now too." I hope that newly engaged couple have gone home for a glass of fizz

4.10pm: Another update from Valkerie: "After a brief (and possibly optimistic) moment of looking like the skies might brighten up again, the ground is enveloped in gloom once more. Umbrellas up round the ground, it's fairly constant. Rain looking slightly heavier now too."

But there's bad news to follow: "There is a huge dark cloud hanging overhead, although it's not raining particularly heavily at the moment." Valkerie then adds: "All covers down now and the sky is getting darker." Sky, meanwhile, have switched to the ODI in Potchefstroom - which might be your best bet, too
