4.5 goes straight up, and Zeeshan's luck has finally run out! Hard length just outside off and this climbs through nicely. A stark contrast to what happened off the previous ball and it takes Zeeshan by surprise. He looks for that short-arm-jab off the front foot over mid wicket but gets a fat top edge. Kusal Mendis calls early and makes no mistake! 41/1
15.5 holes out to deep mid wicket, and Chameera pops up with another timely scalp! Leg-cutter bowled into the track. Seems to stick in the surface slightly, meaning that Rath, trying to hack it over cow corner, does not quite get the power and the elevation. Arrows it straight down Kamindu's throat, and Sri Lanka were in need of that wicket! 118/3
8.4 Kusal Mendis fumbles, but he may have still done enough! Googly fizzed through on a fullish length just outside off. Hayat advances and tries to smash it into next week. Misses it completely, having failed to pick the googly. Mendis also seems to pick it up late and fumbles initially. He then recovers and takes off the bails but the question is has he done it quickly enough. This might not make many 'most elegant stumpings' reels, but Mendis has done just enough. Hayat short of his ground, and Hasaranga is on the board! 57/2

17.2 Shanaka into the attack, and Shanaka into the wickets! Short, wide and this is begging to be hit. Murtaza throws his hands at it trying to do so but only picks out deep backward point to perfection. Murtaza will be kicking himself heading off, especially with short third also in the ring. Shanaka holds his right arm aloft in celebration, and SL keep chipping away! 127/4

15.1 Nissanka has been run out! It is all happening here in Dubai! This is pushed in again and Perera works it into the mid wicket region. The batters seem to decide very late to go for the second, and that is preceded by a bit of hesitation. Nissanka stretches every sinew, including pulling out a sprawling dive to make it at the bowler's end but Murtaza, who hared after it, threw it close enough to the stumps to effect the run out. A stellar knock by Nissanka but now, someone else will have to take SL past the finish line! 119/3
3.6 miscued and this goes a mile up, and taken by Rath at deep mid wicket! This is on-pace and a short ball. Climbs onto Mendis and gets big on him. He has a swipe at it anyway but skews it off the top edge. Rath runs in from the fence, settles under it and completes the catch. Ayush is pumped, and Hong Kong have something to show for their early pressure! 26/1
9.3 banged into the track, and pouched at deep mid wicket! Almost a mirror image of the Mendis dismissal, although this may have been a slower variant of the bumper. Mishara has to drag it from well outside the line and he splices it towards Hayat. Aizaz, like Ayush earlier in the evening, is overjoyed, and this is a vital wicket just before the drinks interval! 62/2
15.2 Murtaza pleads and pleads and pleads, and the umpire obliges! But Perera wants to take another look! Floated up full just outside off. Perera gets down on one knee, looking for the sweep but is beaten as the ball drops late on him. He misses it and gets rapped on the back leg. The impact could be an issue here for Hong Kong, and a possible saviour for Perera. Flat line on UltraEdge, along with a clear gap between bat and ball. Ball Tracking comes up and...returns with Umpire's Call on Impact, with the ball then crashing into middle stump. Now then. Now then! 119/4

16.2 slashed straight to short third, and Sri Lanka are properly in strife now! Short and wide outside off. There to be hit but the lack of pace makes this a very difficult shot. Asalanka throws the plumbing at it and slices it straight to Ayush, who for a change, holds on to a chance. Ehsan holds his arms aloft, and Hong Kong might just be believing in this now! 122/5
17.1 touches the moon and pouched by deep mid wicket! Sri Lanka are unraveling! Floated up outside off and Kamindu's eyes light up. He hares down the track and looks to tonk this into the gulf but Murtaza is such a wily, old fox that he gets this ball to drop on the batter late. Kamindu has to reach out and he shanks it terribly. Hayat settles under the high ball and snares the chance. Hong Kong believe some more now! 127/6
