10.6 gets his man! Fired a snorter on a length and it nibbles away a touch, he exposes his stumps to try an inside-out shot and sees the off-stump being uprooted! Goes right after getting to his half-century, walking back crestfallen 88/1
19.3 low full-toss on the pads, whipped to deep backward square and he might have fell short while pushing for the second, excellent throw from the deep, right on money 171/4
12.6 looped up on a length and gets it to spin back viciously from outside off and beats him all ends up, clatters the stumps and Asif stands shellshocked, actually it's an inside edge onto the stumps. Superb delivery, built the pressure and set him up 96/2
17.5 Fraction short and shaping across off, throws his bat at it and the outside edge carries into the hands of the fielder at third man! Sharp running catch from Shrivastava 145/3

19.4 Backs away and takes the aerial route, holes out to long-on! Gave himself room and whacked the incoming shorter ball on middle down the ground, excellent running and diving catch, that's the standard of fielding that teams need to uphold at this level. Fantastic take from Kaleem 171/5

2.2 Oh, he was batting so well! Pace-off cutter whooshing in the corridor, little late on the jab and he ends up making a mess of his stumps. He was trying to cut and got an inside edge onto the stumps. Much-needed wicket for UAE! 23/2
0.5 pitched up and curling in the corridor, throws his hands at it and spansk it in the air, and fielder takes an excellent diving catch to the right, Kaushik with a marvelous take, quick reflexes! He just scythes it away 7/1
4.3 back of a length and hung away outside off, attacks the ball and swatted straight into the hands of point. Just a casual waft, Parashar takes a juggling catch 32/4
3.1 over the wicket, shorter in length and rolls his fingers on it, holds its line on middle and didn't bounce much! Enthusiastic appeal for an lbw and given by the umpire! Sent upstairs for a second opinion but his case is weak, three reds and the on-field decision stands 28/3
6.5 Landed on a shorter length and gets it to turn back from outside off, he takes him on and heaves it in the air but hasn't got all of it, taken at deep midwicket by Asif, comfortably pouched while taking some step back. Oman have lost five wickets and are capitulating under pressure 50/5
12.5 exposes his stumps in a bid to play an inside out shot over cover, ball veers away from his arc and wrecks the stumps, wasn't a speedy one, took some pace off and it's another vital breakthrough as the wheels continue to come off, Oman continue to collapse 88/6
15.2 lands it short on middle-stump, slinks back to hook and ends up pulling it to short fine, hit him almost near the handle. He was expecting more bounce and needed more pace and couldn't time the ball. Cleverly bowled once again as Oman try their heart out, they don't want to die wondering 108/8
14.5 Once he again he watches him closely and his leg-side shimmy, he gets in a tangle and is unable to break free. Goes for the pull and top-edge flies to backward point 104/7
15.5 It was on the cards! lovely slower one! Pitched up and back of the hand, comes in a shade and lights up the zingers. He went for a slog and was early through the shot. Takes the long walk back to the pavillion. Oman not able to match the quality of UAE but this is great exposure for them 110/9

18.4 back of a length and outside off, lunges forward and presses it to mid-off. Waseem charges in and hits the bull's eye at non-striker's end. Batter was not even in the frame as UAE register a thumping win, outclassing Oman in all departments of the game. The hosts have got their first points 130/10
