Farhan : "Pakistan doing Pakistan like things, in a way only Pakistan can do!

8:13pm Well, that happened rather quickly. At one stage, India were under the pump, with Farhan batting at an excellent tempo, and with Fakhar playing a good supporting hand. But once Farhan fell, and once Ayub perished, it was a procession. Pakistan lost their last nine wickets for 33 runs and that tells a story in itself. Another batting innings that started so promisingly, ended with a whimper.

India will be chuffed with their comeback. Kuldeep was the stat of the show, bagging a four-wicket haul and recovering after a tough start to his spell. Axar, Bumrah and Varun all chipped in with a brace of wickets apiece, meaning that Pakistan only had three batters getting into double digits. India will heavily fancy their chances to get the job done, although Pakistan, days after defending 135, will feel they could still rattle this Indian cage. Join us in a bit for the chase!

Bumrah to Mohammad Nawaz, OUT, goes straight up, and Rinku does the rest! Pakistan bowled out for 146! Seems like a slower bumper outside off. Nawaz has no option but to swipe at it but cannot come to grips with the lack of pace. Swings too early and shanks it terribly. Rinku settles under the high ball at deep mid wicket, and Pakistan, from 113-1, have been rolled over for under 150!

Bumrah to bowl. Nawaz on strike. Around the wicket

Varun to Mohammad Nawaz, 1 run, low full toss just outside leg. Nawaz gets down on the paddle-sweep and helps it fine. For a while, it seems Pakistan are okay to take the second but ultimately and rightly, decide against it

1
Varun to Abrar Ahmed, 1 run, shortish just outside off. Spins back into Abrar and he stays back to turn it into the square leg region. Both batters have a mini-discussion before opting to run

Nawaz advising Abrar to just defend. Two balls left in the over

Varun to Mohammad Nawaz, 1 run, length just outside off. Nawaz comes forward and opens his bat face to guide it towards short third. Takes the single this time, and that is puzzling

Varun to Mohammad Nawaz, no run, short and wide again. Nawaz sits deep in his crease and punches it towards sweeper cover. Single not taken this time

Varun to Mohammad Nawaz, no run, fired in full on leg stump. Nawaz gets forward and plays the textbook forward defence

Varun to Mohammad Nawaz, 2 runs, short and wide outside off. Nawaz goes back and across before punching it past point. Sweeper cover comes around but not before the batters get two

Nawaz or nothing for Pakistan now. Can they get up to 155? Varun to bowl the 19th. Over the wicket

Bumrah to Abrar Ahmed, no run, zinged into the blockhole on off stump. Abrar gets everything behind the line of the ball and keeps it out

Abrar is the last batter in

Bumrah to Haris Rauf, OUT, off stump out of the ground, and Bumrah is on the board as well! Searing full delivery, tailing into off stump. Rauf does not get behind the line and pokes at it in hope. Too late to bring his bat down and the ball breezes past his blade before leaving off stump in a mess. Pakistan nine down, and they still have more than two overs to bat!

Haris Rauf b Bumrah 6 (4m 4b 1x4 0x6) SR: 150

These are handy runs for Pakistan, even if they might end up well short of what they would have been aiming for

Bumrah to Haris Rauf, 2 runs, zipped in very full just outside off. Rauf throws his hands at it and slices it past extra cover for a couple of runs

Bumrah to Haris Rauf, no run, angled in on a length outside off. Rauf looks to tonk this into tomorrow but only swats away a few flies in the process

Bumrah to Haris Rauf, FOUR, edged and four! Off-pace again, on a back of a length just outside off. Rauf hops around his crease before dangling his blade. The ball skews off the outside edge and dribbles away past the keeper!

The decision to take the single off the first ball of a Bumrah over is...interesting. Rauf on strike

Bumrah to Mohammad Nawaz, 1 run, slower ball on a back of a length outside off. Nawaz plays with soft hands and runs it down to short third. A bit of hesitation before the batters decide to take the single

Wow. This game has been flipped on its head. 180 seems a lifetime away now. Onus on Nawaz to drag this score as far as he can, and he has to contend with two overs of Bumrah. Around the wicket

Kuldeep Yadav to Faheem Ashraf, OUT, oh my goodness - what is happening out there?! This is...tough to explain. A floated up full delivery outside off. Faheem plants his front foot and he does not go through with the lofted shot, nor does he try to keep it down. Chips it straight down Tilak's throat at long off, and Pakistan have lost seven wickets for 21 runs!

Kuldeep Yadav to Faheem Ashraf, no run, googly on a length on middle and leg. Zips back in off the surface and Faheem, caught on the crease, prods it into the on side

Faheem in now. Pakistan, from a position of strength, are now in all sorts of trouble

Kuldeep Yadav to Shaheen Shah Afridi, OUT, another lbw shout, but this may have been going down leg! Googly on a fullish length just outside off. Shaheen walks across his stumps, swings and misses. Gets hit on the front pad and even though that seemed to be sneaking down leg, Kuldeep has convinced his captain to review. No bat involved. All eyes on Ball Tracking now and...reckons the ball would have thundered into leg stump. Shaheen has to go, and Pakistan are now seven down!

Kuldeep Yadav to Shaheen Shah Afridi, no run, length ball again, hugging the tramlines on the off side. Shaheen swings like a rusty gate for the second ball running and only connects with the fresh Dubai air

Kuldeep Yadav to Shaheen Shah Afridi, 1 wide, hung up on a length wide outside off. Shaheen moves across and then has a huge slog across the line. Misses it completely and gets the wide call

Kuldeep Yadav to Shaheen Shah Afridi, no run, massive lbw shout, and the finger goes up! Shaheen goes up just as promptly! Googly on a back of a length just outside off. Rips back in sharply and Shaheen, caught on the crease, also gets rapped in front. Kuldeep and the umpire felt that hit the pad first, but Shaheen, obviously, reckons otherwise. Replays indicate the ball smashed into the glove and Shaheen stays!

Shaheen to try his luck now. He has produced some vital cameos this Asia Cup, but this is a different kettle of fish
