8:11pm An innings of two halves really, and this innings could be categorized as post-Abhishek and with-Abhishek. When Abhishek was at the crease, India were going all guns blazing. Abhishek was seeing it like a football and was smashing the ball to all parts en route a 37-ball 75. Gill did his bit too at the top of the order. But once Abhishek departed courtesy of a mix-up with his skipper, things began going downhill for India. Apart from Hardik, no batter got into any sustained hitting rhythm, and India's inclination to have a left-right combination, which came at Samson's expense, also left plenty to be desired.
If Bangladesh had been offered 168 prior to play, they would have bitten hands off. And they would be even more upbeat, given how Abhishek had begun. Tanzim, barring an expensive last over, was superb, with the rest of the bowlers also chipping in. Saif, brought on to tackle two left-handers, also conceded only seven in his two overs, and a combination of those factors means Bangladesh now have to chase as many as they did to win against Sri Lanka a few days ago. Can they do it again? We will be back shortly to find out!

Saifuddin to bowl the last over. He has been taken for plenty so far tonight. Wide yorkers seem to be the plan

Tanzim's plan to hide it outside off has not quite worked this over
There was a hint of inward tail in that previous ball. Not sure if it is reverse but there was definitely movement in the air
Manikanta: "Is the pitch hard to score or Indian batsmen messing up the good start ?" -- Batting seems to have gotten tougher as the ball has gotten older, and it seems like a pitch where the new batters are having trouble starting off
