11.35pm: And that is that, the first seven-match T20I series between Full Members wrapped up in a bow. We were royally entertained throughout, even if the home fans were left wanting more - much more - from the final encounter. The World Cup looms, although both teams have antipodean commitments before the tournament begins. We'll be across all of it, of course. For now, thanks for keeping us company. From Miller, myself and Chandan, it's good night and good luck. Ciao!

11.25pm: Presentations time, starting with Player of the Match Dawid Malan: "We saw this as a final, so to do it under pressure and put up a big score was fantastic. We felt the first 12-14 overs it was coming on nicely, then it slowed up. Luckily our bowlers learned from their lessons with the ball, bowl into the wicket, changes of pace. They bowled fantastically well. We're getting a break here and there, looking forward to getting to Australia and having a couple of days off. But it's been fantastic to be here, thanks for having us."

Mohammad Rizwan is the Complete Performer of the Series, and gets a big cardboard cheque (but no interview).

Harry Brook is Player of the Series: "[Secret of success] Just try to hit straight and play the ball on its merit. Plenty of practice, time in the nets and doing drills. I'll look to hit straight and if there's a gap I'll manipulate the field. [WC spot] We'll see, looking forward to getting out there, we've got Australia in a three-match series and then on to the World Cup. Hopefully we can push for the trophy. Been great fun over here."

Pakistan captain Babar Azam: [Sorry, no Urdu translation today]

England captain Moeen Ali: "Brilliant game today, we played really well from the start. The batters put up a very good score and I thought our bowling was outstanding in wet conditions. [Top order] They give confidence to everyone else. The strike rates they bat at is really important. After we lost a couple, credit to the boys, they went out and played how they wanted. We had two must-win games, to come back and win them is good to see. We're in a good position, and it shows the depth we have. Just want to say thank you to everyone, and the PCB for looking after us."

11.10pm: England's return to Pakistan after a 17-year absence will go down as a successful one. You could barely separate these sides with a Rizla through the series, only for a gulf to open up at the last - this going down as Pakistan's fourth-heaviest defeat in terms of runs in T20Is. England will head on to Australia feeling pretty chipper, with their World Cup squad to be bolstered by the likes of Ben Stokes, Liam Livingstone and Chris Jordan; for Pakistan, there will doubtless be some more introspection to come about their method, as failures for Babar and Rizwan again exposed the shortcomings of their middle order

Willey to Mohammad Hasnain, 2 runs, chipped h-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-g-h- out towards deep extra cover, again lands safely! But Pakistan have been mauled in Game 7, England winning by 67 runs to claim the series 4-3

19.3
1
Willey to Mohammad Hasnain, 1 run, miscued straight up... plops to earth between mid-on and mid-off! Both were back on the boundary, to be fair (not sure why for Mohammad Hasnain), and were never getting in
19.2
2
Willey to Mohammad Hasnain, 2 runs, full outside off and blapped out towards deep extra cover. Woakes is running around the rope and opts to stop it with his boot

Mohammad Hasnain is in

W
Willey to Mohammad Wasim, OUT, bowled 'im! Wasim walks across his stumps looking to ramp, only for Willey to hit the top of off. Stump out of the ground. Pakistan have been flattened in this game

Mohammad Wasim (1) b Willey 5 (8m 5b 1x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Willey to finish off

W
Woakes to Shan Masood, OUT, Rashid scoops a blinder! Sliced towards short third and he springs to his right to hold a low, diving catch. Masood did pretty well for 56 off 43 - even if the situation demanded a lot more - but he'll trudge off to the dressing room with one more over of this game to go

Shan Masood c Rashid b Woakes 56 (86m 43b 4x4 1x6) SR: 130.23

4
Woakes to Shan Masood, FOUR, wide full toss, squirted away! Only needed to get some bat on it and the ball flies down to deep third
18.4

18.2
0
Woakes to Mohammad Wasim, no run, full toss, at the body but Wasim misses out, again deflected through to the keeper

Here's Vinay: "Mark my words: this top-heavy dependent Pakistan team is not going to semi in WC. They also have problems with bouncers and short balling which will be a major difference in Aus. "

1
Woakes to Shan Masood, 1 run, short of a length, possibly a cutter and Masood clips a pull to deep square leg

Last couple. This epic series is ending with a sigh...

17.5
4
Curran to Mohammad Wasim, FOUR, full length, blasted straight! Umpire Yaqoob has to take evasive action, that was firmly struck. Long-on can't get across

More silence at the Gaddafi. Out walks Mohammad Wasim, who didn't have an enjoyable night with the ball...

17.4
W
Curran to Mohammad Nawaz, OUT, bumper, pulled to deep backward square leg! Didn't get much above hip height but Nawaz simply helped it down the throat of the fielder, Woakes stooping low for a catch a few yards in

Mohammad Nawaz (3) c Woakes b Curran 9 (19m 9b 1x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

17.3
1
Curran to Shan Masood, 1 run, zippy little bumper, 135kph/84mph and pulled flat to deep midwicket
17.3
1w
Curran to Shan Masood, 1 wide, full down leg, Masood swipes at it... and Salt is appealing confidently. Moeen reviews, possibly just because he can. Did he get a tickle on that flick to leg? No, not by a long distance! So it's back to being a wide
17.2
2
Curran to Shan Masood, 2 runs, short of a length outside off, Masood rocks back and splits the leg-side boundary rides for two. Fifty up for Masood. Utter silence around the ground
17.2
1w
Curran to Shan Masood, 1 wide, sprayed down the leg side

"Masood is working for his spot for long run." To be honest, Musa, I'm not sure this display would play him in to many T20 sides...

17.1
4
Curran to Shan Masood, FOUR, back of a length and smeared over cover! Picks the slower ball, makes room and hacks it away for four

SCurran again
