0.4 cleans him up with a corker! Length ball that pitches just outside off and decks back sharply. Gous goes searching for it and leaves a huge gap between his bat and bat. The ball bursts through and then clips the top of middle and leg. Milne is pumped; Gous, not quite! 9/1

2.5 nicked and gone! Milne has done it again! Runs conceded but a wicket taken for the second time in as many overs! Back of a length in the channel and this nips away against the angle. Clarke is squared up because of the late movement and feathers it through to Seifert. Sharjah Warriorz have two inside three overs! 29/2

8.5 big lbw appeal, and the finger goes up instantly! Fizzed through on a length on off. Chase looks for the sweep but the length is much shorter this time. Fails to make contact and gets rapped right in front. Seems pretty adjacent but Chase, after some deliberation, opts to review. The only thing that could save Chase here is an inside edge but given how long he took to review, there might be no bat involved. Nothing on UltraEdge, and Ball Tracking has the ball crashing into middle and off stump. Chase has to go and he takes a review along with him! 87/3

16.1 another one bites the dust! Darted in on a back of a length on middle and off. Sharafu backs away, trying to access the region behind point. Gets decent purchase on his cut but hits it uppishly and straight to short third. Another soft dismissal, and the Knight Riders are seven down now! 130/7

14.1 and Milne is back among the wickets! Hard length on middle and off. Narine, sitting deep in his crease, has designs of going downtown. His entire weight is on the back foot, though, and his hands do not go through the ball. Spoons it up tamely and Roy makes no mistake at mid off! 123/5

15.3 sliced and taken! Zampa gets the big fish! Floated up full outside off and this seems to be the leg-spinner. Russell does not pick it and slogs across the line. Does not get to the pitch either and slices it straight to Harmeet at short third. A soft, soft dismissal, and Zampa is jubilant. Big moment in the game! 128/6

19.4 Sharjah appeal and Holder walks! Length ball just outside leg, designed to tuck Holder up. He swings at it anyway but the lack of room means he can only feather it off the inside edge through to Seifert. Sharp catch behind the stumps too. The umpire did not give it out instantly, but Holder was not hanging about. He knew he had nicked it and was happy to walk off! 160/8

4.5 TKC falls, and the Knight Riders breathe a sigh of relief! Angled in full just outside leg. TKC looks to go big again but the angle into him means he does not have as much swinging room. Shanks it off the inside half and Mayers takes a smart low catch at deep mid wicket. It was fun while it lasted, but the Knight Riders finally have a breakthrough! 66/1

13.1 Narine gets Charles, but is it already too late?! Length ball hung up outside off. Charles looks for the big hit but has to fetch this one. Miscues it off the toe-end and Sharafu, back-pedaling at deep mid wicket, takes it comfortably in front of his face. Abu Dhabi Knight Riders finally hold on to a chance (and no this is not a drill), but they have a lot to do to make a game out of this! 133/3

7.3 hot knife through butter! Angled in on a length just outside off. The ball keeps coming in with the angle and Mustafa has no clue about it. Plays well outside the line and the ball sneaks past the inside edge to topple the middle and leg bail. Slight show of emotion from Narine, and is that the opportunity the Knight Riders were waiting for? 88/2

15.1 catching practice! Slower ball on a full length on off. Roy shuffles across and lines up the scoop. He has no pace to work with, though, and ends up chipping it straight down Viyaskanth's throat. The simplest of catches and ADKR have now held on to two chances in succession! 146/4

16.2 Seiefrt falls too! Is the comeback really on?! Hard length on middle and off. Seifert advances, looking to work to leg. The ball, though, holds in the surface just enough to induce a leading edge. Swirls towards Narine at extra cover, and the ADKR captain makes no mistake! 146/5

17.1 D'Souza has been put out of his misery and the Knight Riders keep chipping away! Back of a length on leg stump. D'Souza, ambitously, tries to pick it up off his hips and hit it over deep square leg. Gets no power at all and Mayers takes a simple catch well inside the deep square leg fence! 148/6
