That's it for tonight's coverage. Join us again tomorrow for more ILT20 action. For now, it's goodbye and goodnight from all of us
Nicholas Pooran, MI Emirates Captain: Tough one today. Not enough discipline with the bat and bowl. (on run-out claim) called him (Curran) back in the spirit of game. We haven't respected the game enough, the opposition and our plans. If we keep making same mistakes, it will cost us. Hopefully, we'll try to reflect and we need to pick ourselves up. It's definitely frustrating but we need to keep our emotions in check
James Vince, Gulf Giants Captain: Stumbled at the end but got the points. Couple of games we were in position to win games, we haven't dominated. Last season we win those moments...tonight was massively important to get back to winning ways. Still in the hunt for winning. Seamers upfront restricted and got key wickets, Banton and Pollard batted really well. Certainty wasn't impossible to chase that down
Mark Adair, Player of the Match: It was just basics again. Delighted to get across the line. Tom Curran came in and shared his experience. Delighted to catch (Pollard). It swirls a bit, there is always wind here, thankfully caught that
Almost botched up a straightforward chase after a superb bowling effort. Incredible drama towards the end of this game with a run-out claim from Pooran, who then changed his mind in the spirit of cricket and Curran came back. Erasmus, Alsop made handy contributions and later cameos from Curran and Adair kept them in the hunt. Aayan played a vital knock and his timely blows gave Giants the much-needed win. Rohid was exceptional with the ball and Joseph did a good job but Mousley was the most expensive bowler and the gamble to have him bowl the final over backfired big time. Gulf Giants move to the fifth spot after this win while MI Emirates remain in second place with a positive NRR of 0.15
