The Vipers lost Hales in the second over as he clipped McCoy's opening delivery to midwicket. In the third over, Kuiggeleijn dropped a tough opportunity of Gurbaz in the outfield area. Holden delivered an outstanding innings and maintained his bat consistency, scoring 76 runs. Rovman Powell dropped a simple catch of Holden in the ninth over while sprinting against the light. Sam Curran produced an excellent performance in the middle, hitting fifty runs off 28 balls and remaining at the crease till the finish, scoring 62 runs off 33 balls. Later, Azam Khan played a brief cameo innings. The Capitals' fielders have made a few misfields and missed catches tonight, and they will be praying that it does not come back to bother them later. McCoy took two wickets but was quite expensive; Raza and Haider took the other two wickets. After a little break, we'll return to the run chase.
Bilal: "that refusal to take single on 19.2 by Curran was quite baffling to say the least"
Vijay: "Farhan and Haider bowled beautifully just to not give them additional overs? Billing is so poor in captaincy today.
