Player of the Match
Player of the Match

That brings us to our coverage of qualifier 1 with Desert Vipers taking the honours. Thanks for tuning in. We will be back nice and early for the final which will be held in Dubai on Sunday. Till then, this is me Ashish Pant, signing off on behalf of Thilak. Ciao!

Alex Hales is the Player of the Match: Felt really good. We got off to a great start with the chase. Was a really good surface. The first three-four overs was slightly slower when we bowled. We could adapt going forward. We made use of the early conditions. [On his knock] Really happy with how I kept still today. It has come off nicely in the last few games. [On the final] I think we have to bowl very ball. They have a great batting line-up. We are in good form as a batting unit. Hopefully, this time we can hold out ctaches.

Sam Curran, Vipers captain [Feelings] Really well. We were challenged quite a lot. We have rested, and rotated and we are glad we are back in the final on Sunday. SW are a great side and early wickets was great. Jason [Roy] was great. We thought 160 was under par. Max and Halesy played well. Then Dan and I chased it down. [On Hales] He is such an experienced player and he broke the back of the chase. [On Ferguson] He is obviously a little bit flat. He hurt his hamstring. I don't know the degree.

Tim Southee, Warriorz captain: [Match] It is a tough one. You get yourself a chance, but we scrapped through, but we didn't bowl well. The side that bowls first has success here. We were a better side when we bowled first. [Surface] It was a bit tacky. They [Vipers] changed their pace well and bowled well throughout the day. Jason played exceptionally well. Karim Janat gave us a chance at the end. [Tournament] It has been brilliant. First experience here with ha great group of guys.

Presentation time.

9.50pm After a string of losses, Vipers, who topped the league stage are back and have qualified their second final in three years. They will now take on Dubai Capitals in the final and also have a chance to avenge their heart-breaking qualifier 1 defeat. The win this evening was setup by Hales who smashed his way to a 29-ball 47 which included nine fours. Max Holden did his job with a 34-ball 48 before Dan Lawrence (28* off 18) and Sam Curran (34* off 17) finished off the chase to help Vipers get over the line with 20 balls to spare. Warriorz made a terrific turnaround in the season, but that has ended today. Do hang around for the presentation.

Milne to Curran, FOUR, That's that. Too full on off, he muscles this over mid-off and finishes off the chase which seals Vipers' place in the final. Gives Lawrence a hug, and Vipers will now face Capitals in the final on Sunday.

Milne to Curran, SIX, BANG! Back of a length ball outside off. He stays still and belts this over long-off with lots of power. Curran also completes 4000 T20 runs with that.

Milne to Curran, 1 wide, Wild swing and a miss. Length ball well outside off, he is almost swept off his feet in a bid to reach that. Misses altogether. Also called a wide
