7:43pm An innings of two halves. In the first half, the Knight Riders were calling the shots, having dominated the powerplay and with Pepper and Clarke looking good together. But then, Clarke fell and that triggered a collapse. The innings seemed bereft of momentum thereafter and ADKR kept losing wickets in clusters. Holder and Willey, though, got a few away towards the end, ensuring that they have 176 on the board.

Aayan was the star of the bowling show. His four-wicket haul completely strangled the Knight Riders and he was ably supported by Muzarabani. Mills was expensive, as was Adair. All of which means they are now chasing a score they will be confident of chasing but will require at least a couple of good partnerships. Join us in a bit for the chase!

Aayan Afzal Khan: It was staying low and it spun also for me and that helped me. I am really happy. He (Russell) is such a big player - him and Narine as well. (On the pitch) It is good (for batting), even if it is keeping a little low for the spinners. It will be easy for us to chase hopefully.

Mills to Willey, 1 leg bye, on-pace again, on a hard length on leg stump. Willey swipes at it and misses, and the ball trickles off his back thigh into the off side. Just a leg bye

Mills to Willey, no run, hard length on middle and leg. Willey swings for the hills again and misses. The ball pings off his back thigh towards short third. That was pace-on

Mills to Willey, SIX, just over! Slower ball that ends up being an average half-tracker outside off. Willey winds up and smears it over deep mid wicket. This is not great bowling, it must be said

2
Mills to Willey, 2 runs, full outside off. Willey has a huge swish at it and slices it towards deep extra cover, who misfields and ends up conceding the second, which also means Willey is back on strike. Hetmyer the guilty party on the fence

Mills to Willey, no run, slower delivery dug into the track outside off. Loses even more pace after pitching and barely gets through to the keeper. Was perilously close to being a wide as well

Mills to Willey, 2 runs, slower ball on a length on middle and leg. Willey bunts it to the edge of the ring in the mid wicket region and races back for two

Muzarabani to Ibrar Ahmad, no run, fullish just outside off. Ibrar throws his hands at it and flays it down to deep third. Ibrar wanted the single to get off the mark but Willey was steadfast in saying no

Muzarabani to Evans, OUT, holes out to deep backward square leg! Slower ball into the track on off stump. Evans looks to help it behind square but the lack of pace does for him. Cannot clear Aayan at deep backward square leg and the Knight Riders are now nine down!

Muzarabani to Holder, OUT, goes a mile up and taken by Ibrahim Zadran! Hard length on middle and off. Holder looks to swipe it over cow corner but gets under it a little too much. Plenty of height not but enough distance and Ibrahim, settling under the high ball at deep mid wicket, makes no mistake!

4
Adair to Holder, FOUR, streaky but Holder is off the mark! Fullish in the channel. Holder has a tentative prod at it and gets an outside edge that dribbles past Muzarabani at short third. Not the greatest effort, it must be said

Holder in at 9. ADKR's deep batting line-up might prove to be handy tonight

Adair to Pepper, OUT, edged and taken! Soft, soft dismissal! Dug into the track outside off. Pepper looks at the width and throws his hands at it. It was perhaps a cutter and that was enough to flummox Pepper, who slashed at it and feathered it through to the keeper. Big wicket in the context of the game!
