Hetmyer has carried the Giants to 187/6. Lynn started well at the top and then Overton hit a few out of the park with a flurry down the order. It was an impressive fighting batting performance, and they look hungry for a win. Chris Woakes was expensive tonight while Daniel Sams conceded 10 runs per over. Sean Williams brought the innings to a halt in the middle overs with three wickets but was hit for plenty in his last over of the spell. I'll be back in a few minutes for the chase

Woakes to Jordan, 2 runs, Heat-seeking yorker dipping in at middle and leg, shovelled down to long-on and they are running for the second, throw is spot on at non-strikers' end and Woakes collects it cleanly, Hetmyer is short but what a knock, this is exactly what Giants needed from their power-hitter, he looks resolute right from the start and has lifted his team to an imposing total
