MI Emirates have scrapped their way to a somewhat respectable total in the end and got 180. It was a brilliant bowling performance from the Warriors. Everybody put their hand up and used their bag of tricks to prevent an imposing score. After the powerplay, there was a curfew on runs, and the likes of Pooran and David found it hard to find boundaries. I almost forgot Chris Woakes' spellbinding spell with the new ball where many deliveries went past the bat. Jawadullah, with his slingy action and unconventional ways, barely bowled any looseners and almost got a hat-trick in the end. Without Kusal Perera's onslaught at the top, this score would have been a lot less threatening

Zain: "What a strange (poor) innings by Pooran... 16 deliveries and no boundaries? Strike rate well under 100. David is struggling too, but the captain needs to do better."
