Adam Zampa: "Only got off the long flight a couple of days ago. Been an interesting couple of days. Changing environment now, you're going to see it more often. BBL finished a little bit too early for my liking, but good to be here. I thought Raza bowled well too. We contained them nicely in the middle. It's going to be a tough chase, but I thought we controlled the middle overs well. Optimistic, but I think it's going to be a tough chase. Tough wicket, slower balls are sticking in it."

7.52pm Excellent bowling display from the Capitals, led by a three-for from the debutant Adam Zampa. They need 150 to win. Ashish will be back very soon to bring you the start of the chase.

W
Klaassen to Cottrell, OUT, and the innings ends with a run-out. Slants another ball into that wide-ish channel, back of a length. Cottrell looks to swing it into the leg side, and misses. The batters look to sneak a bye, but Uthappa denies them, hitting the stumps at his end with a calm underarm flick

AAP Atkinson run out 3 (9m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Sheldon Cottrell walks out to face the last ball of the innings.

19.5
W
Klaassen to Ali Naseer, OUT, gone, eight down. Slower length ball angling into the stumps. Long boundaries in Dubai, and he invites the left-hander to take on the man at deep midwicket. Goes after it, but can't clear Shanaka on the boundary

Ali Naseer c Shanaka b Klaassen 1 (3m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

1
Klaassen to Atkinson, 1 run, very full outside off, driven without a lot of power towards extra-cover
19.3
0
Klaassen to Atkinson, no run, slower ball slanting into a wide-ish line. Looks to slog against the angle and misses
19.3
1w
Klaassen to Atkinson, 1 wide, again he slants this into that wide line outside off, beats the angled-bat stab and the umpire signals wide. Tight call
19.2
1
Klaassen to Ali Naseer, 1 run, length ball angling into off stump, driven to long-off
19.1
W
Klaassen to Curran, OUT, another terrific catch, this time from the captain. Slower offcutter, angling away into a wide line outside off. Reaches out to try and slap it over the covers, and he connects fairly well but not well enough. Powell sprints to his left at long-off and completes the catch with a tumble

TK Curran c Powell b Klaassen 21 (36m 23b 1x4 0x6) SR: 91.30

Klaassen to finish.

Over the wicket now to Gus Atkinson.

W
Ball to Rutherford, OUT, There's been some poor catching so far today, but now Dasun Shanaka pulls off a blinder at extra-cover. Full outside off, it's there for the drive, and Rutherford hits it well, but ever so slightly in the air and just within reach of Shanaka, who dives forward and takes it inches off the ground

SE Rutherford c Shanaka b Ball 22 (25m 18b 0x4 2x6) SR: 122.22

Stays round the wicket to the left-hander.

18.4
1
Ball to Curran, 1 run, short again, but doesn't slant as far across. Not as much room, and Curran slaps it on the bounce to long-off
18.3
4
Ball to Curran, FOUR, short of a length, slanting away from off stump, and this time Curran gets hold of it. Carves it away in the air, one bounce and over the cover boundary
18.2
0
Ball to Curran, no run, slower ball, slanting across the stumps. Not short enough for the leg-side swipe, and it goes under the bat and bounces a second time before reaching the keeper
18.2
1w
Ball to Curran, 1 wide, slower short ball down the leg side, can't connect with the pull
18.1
2

Klaassen to Curran, 1 run, length ball outside off, slapped to wide long-off
17.5
1
Klaassen to Rutherford, 1 run, dropped. Hazratullah Zazai at deep square leg, moving a few steps to his left. It was catchable, and he gets both hands to the ball with the reverse-cup, but it just spills out. Goes for the stump-to-stump yorker, ends up bowling a half-volley, and Rutherford whips it in the air, pretty cleanly but not as cleanly as he'd have liked
17.4
0
Klaassen to Rutherford, no run, goes quick and short in the corridor, and Rutherford - perhaps not expecting that pace or length - is beaten, too late on the pull
17.3
6
Klaassen to Rutherford, SIX, now he ends up bowling a full-toss on middle stump - was probably aiming for the yorker - and Rutherford puts it away ruthlessly, clears his front leg and extends his arms fully to send it soaring over midwicket
17.2
0
Klaassen to Rutherford, no run, good slower ball, full and finishing fairly close to off stump. Rutherford, looking to hit over long-on, ends up swinging too early and missing
17.1
1lb
Klaassen to Curran, 1 leg bye, back of a length at the thigh. Not short enough to pull, and he ends up bottom-edging into his thigh pad. They scramble through for a single. Leg-bye given. Not sure if it was just thigh pad

Klaasen. Left-arm over to Curran.
