7.48pm Desert Vipers' chase will begin soon. We'll take a short break and Ashish will take you through the second innings.

Hari: "Okay, why would you bowl Cottrell/Tom @19 "

Calin: "Without wickets the last 9 overs."

Ahmed : "How is pitch???" There was a lot of swing on offer and it's gripping a bit. May get easier to bat with the dew coming in, though.

7.45pm That will be the first innings then. Sharjah Warriors struggled though major parts of the innings, with Gurbaz again the only batter who looked to have some spark. But Joe Denly and Mohammad Nabi did well at the back end to push the score to 145, with Nabi letting loose in the final over. There was just one over of spin but all the seamers picked up a wicket each.

Tom Curran: "I still think it's a below-par score. We started well. The wicket is not a belter but I think we bowled very well. [On slower balls working] Yeah they gripped a little bit but hoping things change in the second innings. We need to see through the new ball. [On the swing on offer] Yeah, the ball swung for quite a while. Yeah absolutely, if we can start well in the powerplay then we can get ourselves a nice win. [On the Cottrell dead ball] I have no idea, but it was a great shot though! Absolutely didn't have a clue."

Afeef: "I can recall some high quality innings by Malan in the last year... Like his 77 against India, 78 against Pakistan, 82 against Australia. He is no doubt a good T20 batsman, he's only a bit inconsistent compared to the lofty standards he set earlier when he was the top ranked T20I batter."
