4.36pm Just the fifth time in T20s at this ground that 200+ has been breached. Plenty to be happy about for the hosts - Finn Allen with the early aggression, Devon Conway showing all his gears in his half-century, Glenn Phillips with his rabbit-running shoes on and also displaying his power at the slog, and importantly for the World Cup, Martin Guptill finding some form, especially since he overcame a slow start. Pick of the Bangladesh bowlers? Probably Saifuddin and Ebadot, who were both a tad expensive, but it can happen when bowling at the death. Bangladesh need 209 to win, which they must if they want to have any hope of reaching the final of this tri-nation series. We'll see you on the other side.

Wajid Jawaid : "No good news has been coming from Bangladesh cricket off late, men's or women's. A successful chase here would mean a lot to their fans."

1w
Ebadot Hossain to Bracewell, 1 wide, full ball just outside leg stump. Misses the clip, goes past the boot, and to the keeper. Umpire gives it a wide

Two balls in the innings.

W
Ebadot Hossain to Phillips, OUT, dragged onto his stumps and Ebadot brings out the salute. Good length just outside off. Tries to muscle a pull, but the ball stays a tad low and gets a bottom edge. Another terrific Glenn Phillips innings, he's making it a habit these days. Strike-rate of 250 today.

19.2
2
Ebadot Hossain to Phillips, 2 runs, falls safe and that's 200 for NZ. Fullish outside off and Phillips stretched out to slap it over cover. But deceived by the slower ball, loses one hand off the bat, and slices it over point
19.1
2
Ebadot Hossain to Phillips, 2 runs, knee-high full toss, outside off. Slapped in front of square, in the air a bit. Soumya from long off runs to his left to stop the four at deep extra cover

6
Mohammad Saifuddin to Phillips, SIX, full ball, outside off but not wide enough. Phillips keeps his eyes on the ball, commits for the shot late, and then mows it across the line over deep midwicket. Knuckleball

Sohail: "It will be a pity if NZ don't reach 200 from here now....middle over burst of runs should have helped them "

Mohammad Saifuddin to Phillips, no run, full and wide outside off. Phillips backed away, offered no shot, thinking it will be given wide. But it was inside the tram-lines

Shoriful Islam to Neesham, 2 runs, another low full toss on off. Dragged to deep midwicket. Two more? Two more. Fielders are on the boundary line thinking about the big hit, and that's why the two is always on.

1
Shoriful Islam to Phillips, 1 run, low full toss and bunted down the ground

Salman Rahman: "Bangladesh seems to have paid a big price today for not picking a 5th bowler. Is it safe to say?" -- If those part-timers can contribute with the bat (ideally on a winning note) then it's a good deal still

17.4

17.3
6

16.6
2
Mohammad Saifuddin to Phillips, 2 runs, another full toss, knee-high just outside off. Mistimed down the ground. It was just one out there but the two fielders down the ground are a bit slow to attack the ball. Phillips spots that, and calls Neesham for a second run

John_Kiwi: "@Mark double the 12 over score works alot."

1
Mohammad Saifuddin to Neesham, 1 run, dipping full toss to start off on off stump. Driven to long on

Mohammad Saifuddin to Chapman, OUT, top of off! Just one bail is on the floor. Good length on middle. Chapman tries to slog across the line, and the ball goes under the bat.

MS Chapman b Mohammad Saifuddin 2 (3m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 66.66

16.3
2
Mohammad Saifuddin to Chapman, 2 runs, good length, on middle. Swiped across the line to deep midwicket. Not timed well, which in fact, allows them to take the second run

Mark: "In ODIs we estimate the score by doubling the score at 30 overs, is there a way to estimate the score in T20's?" -- I like the idea of 2.5X of your score after first 10 overs.

16.2
0
Mohammad Saifuddin to Chapman, no run, slower ball. Full on middle. Tapped to the on-side and the bowler runs to his left to stop any chance of a single
16.1
W
Mohammad Saifuddin to Conway, OUT, well hit, but to the fielder! Back of a length on off. Conway gets back and pulls behind square. However, it doesn't have the distance. A bit of a juggle from the fielder and a very sedate celebration from the Bangladesh fielders
