Ghulam Mustafa: "Last 4 overs 22 runs and 5 wickets. This is some collapse."

ShahSafeer: "These bowlers have improved their variations and skills of death bowling. Credit goes to Shaun Tait! "

8.50pm If you're a Pakistan fan, you would've had a wonderful Saturday afternoon after that bowling performance from your side. New Zealand opted to bat, and at 70 for 1 after ten, you would've thought the hosts were setting the base for a big score. However, the wickets just kept tumbling in the back half of the innings. And at the end of it all, the hosts have a below-par total. Both Conway and Williamson got thirties, however, both knocks were bit of a struggle, that leaves Mark Chapman (16-ball 32) as the pick of the batters.

As for the bowling unit, Nawaz got the two wickets of the set batters after the drinks break, Rauf picked up three in the 19th to put a dent in NZ's final total and Wasim continues to impress with his pace and accurate yorkers. Shadab Khan did a quiet but tidy job of going under six in his four-over spell. See you on the other side.

Saad : "Impressed with Muhammad Wasim…very good control on his line and Yorkers…Dhani will be the weak link once Shaheen is back"

WAQAR Durrani: "22 of 15th over and still below 150 total, tells you pitch is not easy to score on... Pakistan must keep running more often than waiting for the sloggers if they are to win this"

Mark Chapman: "Credit where credit is due. Pakistan bowled really well. We would've liked a few more runs but we've got a strong bowling line up."

Raza A: "This is a first match after 35 matches that Pakistan has not conceded a wide or a No ball .. good stuff coaches .." -- some stat!

Mohammad Wasim to Sodhi, 1 run, yorker attempted, ends up as a low full toss on leg. Thumped to long on

Quite the collapse, eh? Here's the No. 9 Southee, at the non-striker's since the wicket fell off the last ball of an over.

Haris Rauf to Chapman, OUT, another change of pace. Fullish ball on off and this time Chapman tries to loft it over long on, however, he knew he was out as soon as he hit it. Through the shot a bit early and Wasim runs in from long on to take a reverse-cup catch over his head. Third scalp for Rauf in the over!

MS Chapman c Mohammad Wasim b Haris Rauf 32 (31m 16b 3x4 2x6) SR: 200.00

Zeeshan: "Set batter at one end watching like a spectator while others playing ridiculous shots...just take a single and get him on strike...he is hitting at the rate of 200"

18.5
4
Haris Rauf to Chapman, FOUR, around the stumps again. Bit of pace off again. Full on middle and coming into leg. Chapman flicks behind square, and gets it quite fine after hitting the inner part of the bat. To the fine-leg boundary

Moazam: "Keep in view context of situation, dhani's over was very critical as previous over went boundaryless .. must appreciate him for ro complete his over without conceding much runs "

18.4
1
Haris Rauf to Sodhi, 1 run, over the stumps, full just outside off. Sodhi pushes it to point and they scurry across for one

on a hat-trick.

Ali Hasni: "Harif Rauf is gem but Pak has extremely become reliant on him in the absence of Shaheen. In the next matches though Pak might loose but Rauf deserves some rest i believe"

18.3
W
Haris Rauf to Bracewell, OUT, plumb? Given out LBW. Bracewell tries to be cheeky by moving across and try to ramp this full ball over short fine leg. However Rauf cranks the pace up, and Bracewell can't connect. NZ review though. Hits his leg in front of off stump, and that's crashing into middle! First-ball duck, a second wicket for Rauf.

MG Bracewell lbw b Haris Rauf 0 (2m 1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Bracewell. Another left-hander.

Afeef: "James Neesham and David Miller have the cleanest of bat swings when they're looking to hit a six"

18.2
W
Haris Rauf to Neesham, OUT, off stump rattled! Another cutter, and Neesham goes for a swinging shot across the line again. However, this time Rauf is more accurate and once the batter missed, it was all over

Haris Rauf to Neesham, no run, starts off with the change-up. Length ball just outside off and angling in. Neesham tries to swing across the line to aim for a big shot at deep square leg, however, he is through the shot too early. Ball goes just past off stump.

Syed: "Cricket is so easy according to some people. Just make all the right decisions, take all the wickets and don't go for runs. And the opposite when you're batting"

Two overs still left. Haris again. Around the stumps with the two lefties. Only four sixes in this innings. NZ will want a couple more in the last 12 balls.

Shahnawaz Dahani to Chapman, 2 runs, in the air towards deep third, where Haris is there. Full on off and Chapman backed away to try and lift it over cover. However it flew off the edge

Shahnawaz Dahani to Neesham, no run, length ball, a bit wide outside off stump. Neesham had a premeditated decision to swing across the line. Misses

Shahid: "Dahani need to be selective in celebrations. This wicket was a lucky one for him, didn't deserve such celebrations. Shouldn't get carry away"

17.3

Shahnawaz Dahani to Neesham, FOUR, full on off. Slogs across the line with the bat's closed face, and has enough off the bat to run away to deep midwicket!

Shahnawaz Dahani to Neesham, no run, around the stumps to Neesham. Short ball just outside off. Jimmy goes for the pull but the rising delivery forces him to miss.

Saim: "6 overs remaining of Fast Bowlers why not bowl them instead?" -- Are we still discussing the Nawaz over? Probably because NZ batters love pace bowling as a generalisation.

17.1
W
Shahnawaz Dahani to Phillips, OUT, good shot, but straight to the fielder! Phillips is a tad shell-shocked and Dahani runs to the crowd for a celebration. Bit of a length ball outside off. Phillips smacks a flat cut rather beautifully, but it doesn't have the placement. The fielder on the boundary line did not have to move.
