14:39pm: That innings oscillated between the cricketing equivalents of happy hours or premium priced no-bargain sale. Jimmy Neesham says it's a decent performance and feels it's a typical wicket with a bit of extra bounce. He adds wickets are key and that the score is chasebale. It is chaseable but the visitors did well to not get bogged down in the powerplay despite losing Nissanka first ball. Milne and Shipley got early wickets but Mendis and Perera got Sri Lanka off to a flyer. DdS' cameo ended early which left Asalanka and Perera anchor the innings. Sodhi bowled well. Milne, Neesham and Lister finished well. The quiet period between the 17th and 19th over could cost the visitors but with 196, they have runs on the board. Can they defend it, join Fidel Fernando to find out.
Sowmya : "On any other venue 197 shall be deemed a tall order, but given the dimensions of Auckland , SL are atleast 20 short!!! Lost out from overs 16-19 !!!"
