5.56pm New Zealand might take 195 but they must be thinking if they could have restricted the hosts to something lower. They did it again with the new ball, Boult and Henry, got Warner early again, Smith fought with a fifty while leading the middle order, and Australia were 117 for 8 before the tail wagged and frustrated New Zealand. Starc's unbeaten 38 made sure their last two stands got them 78 runs put together. A lot of questions for Australia's top and middle order, they suffered a third straight collapse in a tow. Will those late runs make a difference in the end or will New Zealand get there easily? The pitch is not easy for batting although the visitors' batters showed patience to score over 200 two days ago. Sudarshanan will join you for the chase.
Matt Henry: It was a really good job, we're really happy and confident chasing this total. We're pleased to get early wickets here.
Nathan: "As a NZ supporter I am getting frustrated at the consistency of the Australian team's capacity to pull out one wonder partnership to save themselves after collapsing. Game after game after game. For years.I can only imagine how it feels for the players! "
Yoel: "With the exception of Smith, Australia's scoring card looks upsude down. Is this what they mean by "Down Under"?"
Aalok: "If the top order had not just thrown away their wickets, it could have been so much better. Anyways, they will gladly take 195 from the precarious position they were in. The Australian bowlers may have made a game out of this but with their bats. Will be exciting to watch."
200? Partnership 46 off 35
Achyut: "This game is more like associate clash. This is an entertaining cricket. "
