Akshay srini: "A rare sight these days, as in the Austarlian innings. A score of 500 and not one 6 hit n the innings. Nice to see different tempos of test cricket these days... "
thor: "What the hell is a "daddy" hundred?" Copy-pasted from Wikipedia: Informal term for a batsman's individual score that is substantially higher than a century. Some coaches set a requirement of at least 150 runs, but that value is not universal.
6:37pm: Steve Smith calls the batters in. Australia have declared after playing 137 overs. Australia now get two gos with the new ball either side of Tea. The session started well for the visitors as a run out ended Head's daddy hundred. They subsequently got Cameron Green too. But Carey was stable since, strung a partnership with Neser, and got a few quick runs with Starc to get the hosts to 511. Mitchell Starc will start (hoopin' em) with the new ball any minute now. Stay tuned.
Kieran: "My parents recall the (radio) commentators at Adelaide talking about the scoreboard, and the flowers outside, and the hills in the distance, before calmly announcing that Lance Gibbs had just taken a hat trick."

Mark: "Justin, it is a beautiful scoreboard" Yeah, but he is right in that it's brought up a lot.
Justin: "You know it's a slow game when the TV commentators bring up the "grand old scoreboard" way more times than they need to. Thanks to you guys for not!" Lol thank you but it is a nice scoreboard. Names, numbers, colours... Nice Test-cricket tapestry stuff
