Innings break 5.42pm A superb fightback from England. They were 118 for 5 in the 24th over when Jos Buttler fell. But Dawid Malan played one of the finest ODI innings for England to make 134 from 128. He got great support, especially from David Willey who finished 34 not out and England have posted a competitive 287 for 9. Pat Cummins and Adam Zampa picked up three wickets each. Australia were solid with the ball and in the field but not ruthless. That will take some chasing if the new balls nip around. But traditionally it slides on a bit better at night. England will still need to bowl well. Gnasher will be back in for the start of the chase.
Agar will bowl the last. Brave call

Afeef: "270 is a good score on this pitch, big thanks to Malan's special knock. Australia will have to work hard to chase this, and someone will have to match Malan."
