Shai Hope: [On his century] Wish I could have gone a bit more. The key is to make sure that I capitalise on my form at the moment. I think I am batting pretty well, so it is just about trying to get most runs for my team, give us some targets. [On the surface] Nawaz and Shadab got a bit of turn. I was surprised with the first ball Nawaz bowled to Brooks to get the edge. But I still think it is a decent pitch to bat on. If we bowl well, some balls are keeping low. So if we capitalise on that, make sure we keep it straight, it will be difficult for the Pakistani batters to score runs. It is important we make sure we capitalise on the line and lengths, make sure we get a couple of wickets early and if we do that, we should be victorious today.

7:55pm West Indies finish on 305 for 8 and would be reasonably happy, I reckon. Having said that, the surface looks a belter. The odd ball spun and few kept low but all in all, the surface has played really well. West Indies lost Kyle Mayers early but Shai Hope and Shamarh Brooks kept the scoreboard ticking. The duo added 154 runs for the second wicket and while Brooks fell, Hope carried on. He soon brought up 12th century and also became the joint third-fastest to 4000 ODI runs. While Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled well, Haris Rauf and Hasan Ali were expensive. Rauf did pick up four wickets but ended up going for 77 runs in his 10 overs. Shadab was miserly, as he conceded just 37 runs in his 10 overs. Can Pakistan chase this down? Find out in a bit.

Sherdil: "Didn't the rules change? Wasn't Alzari Joseph suppose to be on strike after Shepherd got out?" The batters crossed, and the new rules kick in only from October 2022

Razaaq: "This is where Pakistan is missing a batting all rounder like Hafeez/ Malik that could have chipped in with a few tight overs. Hassan and Rauf quite expensive"

Haris Rauf to Hosein, no run, length delivery outside off, Hosein looks for a massive slog, does not get any bat on it

W
Haris Rauf to Shepherd, OUT, doesn't get hold of it at all and that ends a sprightly innings from Shepherd. Pacy, length delivery on middle and leg. Shepherd does not get under it and can only mistime it to long on
