A superb batting effort from Zimbabwe there! Takudzwanashe Kaitano and Regis Chakabwa gave the Chevrons a good platform with an 80-run partnership to open the innings. Chakabva went on to build the the Zimbabwean innings, despite Craig Ervine making way for just 9 in his 100th game. He eventually fell for a well-paced 72, with Jeffrey Vandersay twice breaking threatening partnerships. Sean Williams grabbed the baton after, and as wickets fell around him, scored a magnificent 100 of 87 balls to guide Zimbabwe to 296/9.
Yasser : "Zimbabwe 37/4 in last 5 overs. This is where they need to work on. " - A promising total, nonetheless.
