12.26 pm This is an interesting one! England have declared! I'd have thought they would look to bat just once and keep pressing their foot down on South Africa, especially with Sciver in reach of a double-century. But England management feels differently. They have a 133-run lead at the moment with more than a day and a half left to play. There have only been seven double-centuries in Women's Test history. The England Women's single innings Test record of 189 by Betty Snowball set in 1935 was also in the crosshairs. A lot of landmarks were within sight that would've brought tremendous publicity had they been achieved. Perhaps for another day then.
