India have done well to keep New Zealand to 251. The hosts were 95/1 at one stage but the spinners pulled things back and got wickets at regular intervals to peg back New Zealand. Apart from Amelia Kerr who made another fifty, the others did not stay with her and go big. Devine fell for 34 and even Kerr got out at the wrong time. Jensen with a nice cameo down the order even as Mackay struggled at the other end. The four spinners for India bowled 38 overs in total and grabbed 7 wickets amongst themselves. Can India chase this down? Back for the chase in 25 minutes...
Jason: "Mackay may have lost this match for the White Ferns, 15 off 33b, in effect wasting 18 deliveries, 3 overs of not scoring, she should have gone big or gone out when she realized she wasn't scoring, or the order should have come from the dressing room. "
