That was an entertaining finish, South African quicks were brilliant in the first 10 where the there was extra bounce, even the spinners found turn. The mix of speeds was excellent. India's top-order could not get going despite trying. Ngidi was brilliant, Pandya anchored the innings. But it was all DK once he got going. He carried his momentum even during his interview. It's a 50-50 now. I got lucky to have gotten on the more entertaining half of the innings here on comms, let's see how Deiva's stint is this time.

Dinesh Karthik 55 off 27: It's important after where we were placed after ten overs, so I'm happy. I believed we can get 80-85 in the last 7. I tried to take risks, it's important to accept and absorb them. I weighed up my options at the end and was able to go big. [on having played in India's first T20] I feel old when that comes up [laughs], I played with different generations. I know off the 22, 21 have retired so it's good to still keep going. [On the pitch] It's on the slower side, if you bowl the right areas at the right speeds, I found it harder to hit the boundaries.

8:41 pm: 73 off the last five overs propels India to 169, a score that seemed improbable when they had scored only 56 after 10.
