5.05pm: All about King Khawaja at the SCG this avo, as Australia drive home their advantage in the fourth Test. He walks off unbeaten, a second century in the match under his belt, and with plenty of time for the hosts to set about trying to take ten England wickets. There will be 15 overs to bowl tonight, with around an hour and a quarter to bowl them - plus a full day tomorrow (weather permitting). The notional target is 388, but you will hardly need reminding that England haven't managed to pass 300 at any point in the series, never mind in the fourth innings on a wearing track. Can they summon the spirit of Vihari and Ashwin and block their way to safety - possibly with the help of some rain - or are Australia nailed on for 4-0? Let's see

Leach to Carey, OUT, angled in straight, Carey is hit on the front pad sweeping... Leach appeals for lbw, the ball ends up with Pope, who then claims the catch. Given! And then the declaration comes! Carey a little unlucky, he ended up diverting the ball straight off the back of the bat as it swung through, and Pope stuck out a hand to grab it smartly. Fourth catch for England's substitute keeper, equalling the record. But it's all about what England can do with the bat now

Out comes Alex Carey. Australia ploughing on...

Leach to Green, OUT, slogged straight up, and Root pouches it! Green won't be getting a maiden Test hundred today, but he's found some form in fine style after a difficult series with the bat. Third wicket for Leach, tossed up on leg stump and he gets enough bounce to find the top-edge with Green mowing across the line

Evening all. Uzzie does it for Australia. Now, how much longer until Cummins calls them in?

Some juicy stat goodness, courtesy Sampath Bandarupalli from ESPNcricinfo's stats team: Usman Khawaja - only the 9th player to score centuries in both innings of an Ashes Test. Also only the 3rd player after Doug Walters and Ricky Ponting to score twin Test 100s at the SCG, and just the 10th player in Test cricket to score centuries in both innings while batting at No.5 and lower.

No sign of the declaration! Time to tee off (not recklessly). In fact, teeing off recklessly would do the trick too... here's Alan Gardner to take you through to the close, as the players take drinks.
