Australia win by eight wickets and go through the multi-format Ashes unbeaten. England were never in the contest today. They've had a poor one-day series. Australia just outstanding. Always finding someone to stand up. They are clear favourites for the World Cup. England need to take a long look at their batting over the next few weeks. Australia don't have too many worries as they prepare to head to New Zealand.

Annabel Sutherland is player of the match: "I'm just enjoying my cricket at the moment, having a lot of fun. It was a really good bowling performance all-round. Playing against the England girls is tough and they brought a lot of fight. We really enjoyed it."

Tahlia McGrath is player of the series - what a summer she has had. "I've found a lot of confidence and enjoyment in the game. It was a extremely difficult to break back into the side, I was a big fan on the sideline and just loving that I've been able to string some games together."

Heather Knight "It was not the ideal build-up but we made the best of a bad situation. We went toe-to-toe at certain times, we'll be frustrated a few big moments we didn't win. Think the last two games aren't a reflection of us as a side. It was a brilliant Test match and gutting that we couldn't get over the line. We haven't quite nailed it in the ODI series. A few little tweaks we need potentially with the bat and looking forward to getting to New Zealand."

Meg Lanning "It's been an outstanding series...would like to thank England for coming out and being part of the series. We've had so many contributors and haven't relied one or two players. There's always a few spanners that get thrown at us, we've done an extremely good job in adapting the things that have been thrown at us. Gives us a lot of confidence. Today was a pretty complete performance. Enjoy this win, it's a massive achievement then we'll adjust to those conditions in New Zealand."

Meg Lanning is now joined by the rest of the team as they are presented with the Ashes trophy. It caps a perfect summer for Australian teams against English sides (14 wins to zero losses). I'll wrap things up there for today. We'll be back for the men's T20I series against Sri Lanka in a few days. But for now, from Gnasher, Sri and Alex it's goodbye and thanks for joining us.

Farrant to Lanning, SIX, finished in style! What a way to wrap things up. Lanning latches onto a full delivery outside off and launches it over wide long-off. That's a statement. It's been all Australia
