10.15am Shaheen took just ten balls to wrap the West Indies innings up, finishing with a four-for. West Indies will be disappointed that they couldn't make full use of 217 that their bowlers restricted Pakistan to. Three ducks for their batters too. But Brathwaite stood out with his patient 97. Now batting conditions are brilliant for Pakistan's openers to start the third innings .

Umar: "Pakistan top order reallly need to wake up. A performance is long loong overdue - also looking forward to see Babar - he's been a little lackluster lately too!"

Thanks, Himanshu. Pakistan start the day with the Qaumi Tarana, the country's national anthem. Today is Pakistan's independence day. Have we already said it's bright today? The first real time all tour that the sky has looked so blue. Shaheen will kick things off. West Indies will hope the three remaining batters can take the lead as close to 100 as they can. Da Silva will be key for that. Let's see how much he trusts Warrican with the strike.

Qamar: "Happy Independence Day to all Pakistani all over the world. Best wishes"

9.53am Runs are expected to come on a sunny day, as West Indies seek further momentum. And with that, here's Sreshth for the action. Pakistan's head coach Misbah-ul-Haq believes they are only "slightly behind" as of now, but the match is "in really good shape at the moment".

A lot depends on how Da Silva guides the tail, having already put up a staunch 20* so far. He doesn't have very dependable tailenders with him, but just 25-30 runs more, and Pakistan will start worrying, especially if the pitch and the conditions remain helpful for pacers. However, it looks like a very bright and sunny day to start with.

Prasad: "Weather prediction plz." --- It is expected to be sunny throughout today, with a pretty low chance of rain.

Bill Lee: "Morning Himanshu - another 50 runs from West Indies, could hurt Pakistan here." --- That would be gold for the hosts, meaning their lead would be 84 by then, enough for Pakistan's batters to come out nervous in bowling-friendly conditions.

And here's Danyal Rasool's report from the second day's play, where Brathwaite and Holder helped their side nudge ahead, as Abbas and Afridi led the way for the visitors.

9.30am Morning all. This looks like a nicely poised Test after the first two days of play. West Indies are just 34 ahead, and so it is not entirely out of Pakistan's control yet. This is Himanshu, and with me will be Sreshth for the action today.
