Scorer: @Thilak_Rama | Commentator: Hemant Brar
That's all from our side for this game. See you soon.
Shikhar Dhawan: I thought we were 10-15 runs short but we felt it was still a good total. We played quite well after losing a wicket on the first ball. Getting to 50 in the powerplay was good. I think only 5% scope of improvement. Surya is a great player and we enjoy watching him bat. He was taking pressure off me as well. Sri Lanka were playing well but we knew our spinners will get some turn. Yuzi and KP bowled really well. And even Varun, playing his first match. Prithvi is playing really well and I am sure he will bounce back in the next game. It's very hard to pick Varun, even I find it difficult when I am facing him in the nets.
Dasun Shanaka: I think 164 was chaseable on this wickets. I think their bowlers upfront started really well. And then there were not enough middle-order batters to finish the game. I think our bowlers did an amazing job. I hope we come out and do better than this in the next game.
Bhuvneshwar is the Player of the Match. "I played ODI after a couple of months, so you take some time get into the rhythm," he says. "It was a good batting wicket but there was some help for bowlers too."
Caradhras: "Should be Bhuvi, will be SKY."
Vinayak: "POTM: Chahal "
Nilesh Sinha: "SKY should be the MoM"
Who do you think should be the Player of the Match?
Vinay: "6 wickets for 15 runs. Sri Lanka's inexperience showing up.."
Arunabh : "The match was much closer than what scorecard suggests. "
"The last wicket was Bhuvneshwar Kumar's 200th T20 wicket," Sampath says. "He currently has 49 wickets from 49 T20I matches."
11.30pm So, a total that looked a bit under par at the halfway stage proved to be 38 too many for Sri Lanka. At 104 for 4 after 14 overs, they were in the game despite Bandara managing only 9 from 19 balls. But Chahal bowled a three-run 15th over and Chahar dismissed Asalanka and Hasaranga in the next to turn the game towards India. Incoming batters then couldn't nail the big hits and kept losing their wickets. In the end, Sri Lanka could last only 18.3 overs.
Bhuvneshwar finished with 4 for 22 from 3.3 overs, Chahar had 2 for 24 from his three and Chahal 1 for 19 from four.

Rohit B: "I'd say that it was very brave to keep Varun for the 17th or 18th over. Would have been really difficult for him if Asalanka was still on the crease. It's worked though, Bhuvi and Chahar have got the wickets and now he can put pressure back on the batters. "
