Maddy Green is player of the match ahead of Lea Tahuhu and Katherine Brunt. "Over the last couple of games we talked about getting in and finishing it off. It was about being there at the back end and it was nice to have Lea smack a few and take the pressure off. We've bowled exceptionally well so we've talked about the top order standing up, taking ownership and batting through."
"Nice to finally get over the line - a little tighter than we'd have liked but we showed some resilience," says Sophie Devine. "We know the tail can do a job and some of that striking from Lea Tahuhu was outstanding. Nice to sit back and watch the girls do the job. She's been like a caged animal so it's nice to see her bowl like she did today. She's turned a corner in terms of accuracy - might not be as quick as she used to be but it's about smarts. We know that we're closing the gap on England and we're trending in the right direction heading towards the World Cup."
"Just not enough runs," is Heather Knight's verdict. "The bowlers have been great - they are looking to be aggressive and we put them under the pump. Katherine deserved a five-for and Charlie Dean has started to look like she's at home in international cricket. It's more us getting ourselves out at times but we have two games to put in really strong performances."
