1.13pm Well, that was a curious innings all round. All the running made at the top by Gunathilaka, in a rich vein of form, while Dinesh Chandimal ticked over for a decent half-century in the middle.
Jason Mohammed was excellent value for his three wickets, while Alzarri Joseph bowled rockets with the new ball. And then Hasaranga climbed onto the offensive in a 64-run stand at the end there, to post a healthy 273 for 4. Some 40 more than they posted in the first ODI, and that was demolished easily enough. Will runs on the board make any difference to West Indies' powerful batting? Fidel will be here shortly to find out.
alan: "impressed with hasaranga , fnally an allrounder of quality for sri lanka, unselfish batting too didnt try to hold on for getting his 50 tried to get many runs as possibe"
Daiya: "@James if you average only 20 as a finisher your not doing a good job. We've seen other finishes like Dhoni, Miller, etc succeed in these situations " It wasn't a great advert for the role, I grant you
