3pm: Wow. A tricky start somehow snowballed into an all-timer for India. Their score of 78 is the seventh-lowest in Test history after choosing to bat first, although the last pair did manage to scrape them past a couple of feebler efforts by India, versus West Indies in 1987 and South Africa in 2008. The conditions at Headingley don't look to treacherous, on the surface - but clearly it did enough for England's seamers throughout, with Rohit Sharma's struggle for 19 off 105 indicative of the challenge. Fortunately for Virat Kohli, he has a decent seam attack at his command, too. Even more fortunately, he's playing against England, who have resembled 10 cardboard cut-outs plus Joe Root in recent times. If the ball keeps nipping around, this could continue to be a lively afternoon

Curran to Jadeja, OUT, that has to be lbw, hasn't it? Yup, up goes the finger. Jadeja has reviewed, but more because he can and he's the last recognised batter than from any belief that he could be not out. Or is there an inside edge? Nearly a yorker, pitching somewhere around off stump and straightening, and Jadeja closes his bat face to try and flick it away. Misses - yup, no inside edge - and he's struck on the front leg, low down near the boot... It's crashing into off stump according to Hawkeye, and that is that for Jadeja. Curran is now among the wickets too.
