Jaffna Kings have equaled the lowest total in the history of LPL and scrapped their way to this slightly subpar total of 129/7. Nobody really got going as Dambulla knit up a solid bowling performance. Kerr, Dhananjaya, Noor and Binura kept them on a leash and only Dahani was a little expensive, conceded 9 runs per over, but bowled with great pace and speared some toe-crushers. There were only four extras conceded and Dambulla have clearly assessed the conditions well and their spinners extracted plenty of turn. No batter looked comfortable batting on this slow track where the ball was holding up. There were barely any loose deliveries and no let-offs at all.
