9.10pm So an underwhelming Gladiators innings comes to an end, though it could have been a lot worse if not for a 65-run 6th wicket stand between Movin Subasingha and Imad Wasim. Though that too could have been mitigated had Falcons held on to their catches, having had Gladiators on the ropes at 28 for 5. Carlos Brathwaite did most of the damage in the powerplay with figures of 4 for 14, and could have had a five-for if not for two chances being spilled off his bowling. Chamika Karunaratne also had to make his way off the field after losing three teeth, when the ball struck him flush in the mouth while completing a catch off Braithwaite.
