4:45pm Not quite the second half Dambulla were expecting, especially after finding themselves in a decent position at the half-way mark. In fact, they bossed the powerplay and as long as Cox and Daniel were at the crease, it felt they would easily power Dambulla to a total in excess of 150. Like yesterday, though, the Kings' spinners brought them back into the game. Theekshana and Viyaskanth bagged three-wicket hauls, with Fuller also chipping in with a couple of scalps. They never allowed Dambulla to get away in the middle overs and that triggered a collapse towards the end - one that has left Dambulla a few runs short and has handed over the initiative.

The wicket is not easy to bat on. That said, 121 seems a little too less against a batting unit that has quality. Join us in a bit to see how the Kings go about their run-chase and if they can make it two wins out of two in LPL 2022.

Vijayakanth Viyaskanth: First two overs, I did not do very good. Yesterday also I did very well and my team said to me to do my best. (On the bowling unit) We have Maheesh Theekshana as well. Every time I go into the times, my coach keeps telling me I can do well. Shoaib bhai said to me that I can do anything. (On how he is feeling) A little scared but having fun (chuckles).

Zaman Khan to Kumara, no run, no, he can't! Dug into the track at the batter on middle and leg stump. Kumara swings for the hills but only swats away a few flies. The batters are not bothered about the bye either, and Dambulla finish on 121!

Kumara to face the final ball. Can he finish with a boundary?

Fuller to Mendis, OUT, Mendis bites the dust! Low full toss outside off stump. Mendis tries to be a little too cute by shuffling across his stumps and attempting the paddle. In the end, though, he only manages to lob it tamely towards short fine leg. Dambulla are nine down, and in real danger of being bowled out!
