What a strange innings. Stallions were 64 for 5 in the 9th over, struggling to make it past 160. But captain Thisara put partnerships on - first making 51 with Chaturanga de Silva, before putting up a 55-run partnership with Wanindu Hasaranga. He went absolutely ballistic at the death, hitting 64 runs off 21 balls faced in the last five overs.
Lahiru Kumara's 19th over disappeared for 30. The other quicks, aside from Aftab Alam who only bowled three overs, were expensive as well.
Stallions now have to be favourites to win this match. This is clearly a good batting pitch, but 219 is tough anywhere. And Stallions have an excellent attack, on paper at least.
