11.20pm And that is all from our live coverage tonight. See you on Thursday for New Zealand's last game of the summer.
Southee: Unusual game. We knew there was a bit of rain. I think the guys adapted really well. Very good summer to be part of, we're very privileged here to have teams come in here and make a good summer. It's always interesting, it's shorter the guys can come out and go harder. They did put us under pressure. Just got to go with gut feel [about bowling Phillips]. I do a lot of it on gut feel, what feels right at the time. I thought the slower ball was starting to hold. So pure gut feel, sometimes you get it right, sometimes you get it wrong.
Mahmudullah: I think there was a bit of confusion because we didn't know what the DLS score was, it kept changing on the scoreboard. It can happen in the game. First five overs we were on track but we didn't finish well enough. Naim and Soumya batted really well. We didn't capitalise on the balls we missed. There are some chances that we need to capitalise and we might get a win. Taskin took a brilliant catch that gave us the confidence. In T20 sometimes you get a good a start, sometimes you don't. But both batting and bowling, you must finish well. As a batting unit we can take some positives in this game and come back strong.
Glenn Phillips is the Player of the Match.
11.11pm A comfortable finish for New Zealand in the end, but Soumya Sarkar had them panicking. Plenty of drama around the target but one man seemed unfazed by it. That clarity from Sarkar translated to a 25-ball fifty, but New Zealand let no one else get away with the game. And they win this game and take the series as well. 2-0 now.
Tasmeem: "The target should've been more than 170 anyway. That's referee's fault, but it all comes down to the performance in the field. Naim needs to address his deficiencies. He has been really slow apart from that one innings against India. 38 from 34 in a match chasing 10 an over simply can't cut itself."
Kamran: "@Daniel is right. This is a farce unlike any we have seen lately. And it's not just a matter of a run or 2, it's 23 runs. Will the match referee be entertaining complaints against himself ?"
Rudra: "@Daniel: Kohli or Finch would have done the calculations themselves as well and taken it up before even a ball was bowled" ---- It shouldn't be their job though
