5.15pm As the Vipers lift the trophy, thank you ever so much for joining us for the finale. We'll eagerly look forward to what shape next season takes. Until then, goodbye and take care.
5.07pm Player of the Final is Charlotte Taylor, who says: "A few weeks ago, I got drafted in a little bit later in the competition so just to be here now is a bit of a dream come true. My family are watching at home and it means a lot to them."
Diamonds captain Lauren Winfield-Hill said: "At the start we thought it was a 260 pitch so we were quite happy at half time but you've got to bat a lot better than we batted. Charlotte bowled really well but there were a lot of soft dismissals."
Georgia Adams, captain of the unbeaten Vipers said: "The team has showed so much character. Holding our nerve and really well batted by Emily Windsor at the end there."
5.00pm The Vipers win by 38 runs, built on captain Georgia Adams' 80 which laid the foundations for a total of 231, and finished off by Charlotte Taylor's 6-34 to bowl the Diamonds out for 193 in the 43rd over. Sterre Kalis put up a fight with a gutsy 55 for the Diamonds but it was not enough as the Vipers eased home.
