Alan: "The last ball of the 1st innings in one days/T20s should never be a dot. Run even if it seems impossible, there's nothing to lose."

Craig: "Brooks got to 80 from the 39th over and 10 overs later he still has not crossed 100. He is being too mindful og the century and costing his team some runs here."

Join us for the chase in around 20 minutes from now

When the first innings started, the blustery conditions made it look like 260 might be a par score. Hope started well but was careful. As the sun burst through, Mayers started to open up. His batting was superb and he was particularly harsh on Kingma. Brooks came in at the fall of Hope's wicket and powered a partnership of 184 runs with Mayers. Mayers started to hit out after reaching his ton and it seemed like a total of 350 was within reach. Brooks could only score 18 runs after Mayers was dismissed. He got to his century in the final over of the innings - 16th time that two West Indies batters scored a century in an innings
