Liton Das and Tamim Iqbal are the openers out in the middle. The first over will be delivered by Joseph, with two slips in place
3.24 pm Here we are for the reply. Bangladesh need 123 to go 1-0 up in this three-match series. Tamim Iqbal, I thought, was exceptional with his decisions in the field. Used his fast bowlers well, especially in the face of the Mayers-Powell counterattack. Both batsmen like pace on the ball, but he still brought Mustafizur and Hasan Mahmud back into the attack, and it helped hasten the end. Can Tamim now lead the way with bat in hand?
It'll be a 30-minute break before the Bangladesh reply. We'll see you on the other side shortly.
Shakib Al Hasan speaks to the broadcasters: "Feeling ok. Playing after 16-17 months is not easy. But happy with the way I performed. The thing is, we haven't played for 10 months. Everyone is anxious and keen to play matches. Everyone was nervous today, but also very excited. [On his idea] Keep it simple, just pitch the ball in the right areas, and hope for the wicket to do the rest. There are quite a few good fast bowlers coming through the system. I played the previous T20 tournament, and I saw a lot of good fast bowlers bowl their heart out. I played with Hasan [Mahmud] in the same team, and it was good to see him come out and express himself."
2.59 pm It's now the second-lowest total for West Indies against Bangladesh. Shouldn't be too tall an ask for a quality batting lineup, but let us see how the reply pans out. For the moment, it's all about some quality Bangladesh bowling. The guile of Shakib and Mehidy, together with the accuracy of Mustafizur, and a potential new star on the horizon in Hasan Mahmud. Very little of note from the West Indies, barring the short phase of play when Kyle Mayers and Rovman Powell took the attack to the opposition

Tasmeem: "It was inevitable. Rovman has always had starts against Bangladesh, but he never converted it into a big one. The only one troubling them currently was Shai Hope, who isn't here." --- Real shame, because the Mayers-Powell partnership was looking good, and could have taken West Indies to a good platform for a final push
